Rumba, bomba y plena on the streets of Bocas del Toro. Carneval in Panama is a tradition best experienced on the Caribbean side. For the weeks leading up to Carneval, every day at sundown, you will notice the diablitos parading around the streets with their whips. The ‘diablitos’ are adults and children dressed up in black and red devil costumes. The week of Carneval, the islands fill up with parties and visitors from all over.
