“This decision was made after an analysis of market supply and demand which resulted in the need to increase the load factor in order to add individuals and family groups,” says Flytrip CEO Jaime Fernandez.
Flytip has been operating in the charter flight space since 2000 and began serving Bocas del Toro in 2022, providing flights between Panama City’s Marcos A. Gelabert Airport in Albrook and Isla Colon’s Jose E. Hall International airport.
In 2024 Flytrip became an official airline servicing the Panama CIty-Bocas route. They also provide regular airfare to Isla Contadora and are now able to execute Isla Colon to Tocumen Airport direct drop-offs for groups of 5 or more passengers.
With Flytip you can charter a flight to any airport in Panama and they have emergency medical evacuation services. The company also has their own tour operator agency division, Trip, and a maintenance services center, TMA (Taller de Mantenimiento Aeronautico). Flytrip has sustained continued growth the last five years, even during pandemic times!
