OK, so here’s the general “Give Back Bocas” Christmas plan. The end result will be baskets/bags with food & gifts for the deserving, needier Bocas families. Recommendations will come from a few trusted teachers and we’ll even be following up pre-delivery to be sure nominated families meet these standards. This depends on time & donation quantities. The items posted below are the requested donations and they may be dropped off at the Buena Vista Bar & Grill between now and December 14th. If you’d rather give a monetary donation, that is fine too. We’ll use money to order apples, pears, grapes, and baked goods from Pricesmart as well as buy chicken from Melo and onions, peppers, celery, and plantains all right before the delivery date/event. We’ll keep everyone posted regarding plans so as many volunteers as are interested can participate as well.
