Fashion, muralism and coral rebuilding at La Coralina Island House!
September 24, 2023, the Bocas del Toro community came out for “Stars of the Sea,” a memorable event co-hosted by Mother of Corals and Coral Nation.
What was the occasion? To announce the launch of a collaborative Coral Program.
The first phase consists of two offerings: an ocean conservation class on corals, coral reefs and coral restoration; and a snorkel tour of restoration sites. Information on later phases and offerings will be released by the end of the year. All bookings will be managed through La Coralina. Contact
The launch of the Coral Program is a milestone for Mother of Corals, whose mission is to teach communities to rebuild coral reefs.
The announcement was brought to life alongside art and fashion, with the unveiling of a magnificent marine-themed mural by artist David Ynche and an fashion runway show featuring the latest collection from designer Daniela Poggi, now available at the La Coralina Island House Atlier.
