Visas Extended to January 31, 2021 By Panamanian Immigration

Expiring visas for foreign residents and tourists have been extended as part of the state of national emergency declared March 13, 2020 for the Covid-19 pandemic. Fines and penalties had previously been waived until October 31, 2020, however Panama’s Immigration offices have now extended this date until January 31, 2021.

If you are a foreign resident or non-resident visitor in Panama with your visa expiring after March 13, 2020, you can now stay in the country until January 31, 2021 without incurring fines and penalties.

This is according to the resolution number 15909 Panama 30 Oct, 2020. The full resolution document can be found here: www.gacetaoficial.gob.pa
