Bocas del Toro’s first modern hotel is also one of its oldest and most historic buildings. The hotel was created in 1968 when visionary and Bocas del Toro pioneer of tourism Jose "Tito" Thomas made renovations to a building that originally housed the main offices of the United Fruit Company, built-in 1905.

This centrally located gem of a historical hotel is equipped with 18 rooms, each with A/C, cable TV, and a private bathroom with hot showers. It boasts a breezy second-floor balcony perfect for taking in an ocean view and watching the action of Bocas Town's main street. The first floor is adorned with photographs of Bocas del Toro's golden era 1890-1930.
