Earth Day in Bocas

The Bocas Research Station celebrated Earth Day by more than just putting cool ecological memes on Facebook: they celebrated with action! Beach clean-ups were organized on Carenero, Bluff and Las Cabañas, along with an Earth Day Parade featuring all of the schools on the island.  Kudos to Marlon Smith, the Bocas Research Station, Smithsonian, Sea Turtle Conservancy, School for Field Studies, and all volunteers and school children involved. Way to show that you love Mother Earth by taking action!
