Volunteers Are Beautifying the Park All Weekend

Today and yesterday were the first two days of the B.E.L.L.O. “Park Clean-Up and Beautification” campaign and by the looks of the fresh paint and smiling volunteers- it was a success!

Panamanians, foreign residents, retirees, students and even a group of 20 tourists came to get their hands dirty for the lovely cause!

Professor Mario Garrido is donating his time to paint a beautiful mural on the bottom part of the gazebo that’s in the park.  Impresionate!

Kudos to all those who have volunteered or donated.  Parque Bolivar looks better already! However, the job is not done and the campaign has one more day left.  If you have it in your heart and in your schedule, come down to the park tomorrow anytime between 7 am and 4 pm.  You will be greeted by a group of volunteers who want to pitch in and take care of their community’s park.
