Editors Note: July 2016

July’s issue features a new initiative: the Bocas Breeze Photo Challenge. Read about that on page 5. I’d like to thank Sharon Adam for spearheading this one. This month also features a poem submitted by Arnold Greenburg and an original art piece by Key Buchenstein . Thank you guys as well. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank a number of other people who have come forward to help generate what you will see in this issue: Alba Piterson from the ATP, Sgt. Martin Sanchez of the National Police and Katherine Dukehart of Ultimo Refugio for relaying news, Rob Appenzeller and Emily Talentino for their wonderful articles, Mayor Martin Downer, Arturo Romero, Tito Thomas,   Robert Ibargüen and Cristina Cuberes Llanas for their interviews, Ricky Martínez Benoit for his epic quote, Jahir Torres of Bocas TV for his photographs and John Schneider as always for his hilarious horoscopes. What do they say- it takes a village to raise a community newspaper? Or something like that.

It’s been a great first 4 months and without everyone mentioned in this note and especially those mentioned in this last paragraph; this would be nothing but 16 blank pages.
