“I am visiting from Wales, UK and just read your editorial in the June edition. Wales was one of the first countries to introduce a compulsory plastic bag charge. The charge is 5 pence a bag – about 7cents, charged by the shop, and has resulted in massive behaviour* change. The money collected goes to good causes. It’s a great idea that works. Cheers, Jo”

There’s no doubt that charging for plastic bags would change people’s behavior* and result in less plastic bags. It’s definitely a policy to consider. Thank you for sharing Jo!

I’d also like to thank Jordan for writing us, who wrote in regards to August’s article on Homeopathy and raised a good point.
