Charity Dodgeball Tournaments to Continue

6 teams and over 50 players showed up for the Dodgeball Tournament that was hosted by Give & Surf and Mondo Taitu on Sunday, April 19th!  Over $200 was raised that goes directly back towards educational programs offered by Give & Surf in the Ngobe communities of Bahia Roja and Bahia Honda.  Congrats to winning team Juan David Isaac & Mono Loco Surf School!  Stay tuned for details on the next tournament coming in late May/early June!

Over $7,000 was raised in February as part of Give & Surf’s Back-to-School Campaign, which included a surf competition at Paki Point, an auction at Indi, and an online fundraising campaign.  Thanks to everyone in the community who chipped in and gave generously of their time & money to make this event a huge success!  Special thanks to Melissa Grani, Paki Gale, and Juan David Isaac!  The money will be used to for this school year to pay for the new English curriculum for over 60 elementary school students, help pay for program supplies for the preschool programs, and provide transportation for 25 middle & high school students to attend colegio in Old Bank each day.
