Editor’s Note

I would like to dedicate this issue of The Bocas Breeze to all those who continually put forth such incredible effort to make the archipelago of Bocas del Toro a better place. For 12 years now The Bocas Breeze has taken pride in supporting local businesses, government infrastructure, and a vast number of charitable organizations. We have told the stories of unsung heroes and always rooted for the underdog. Those who give of their time and heart to receive nothing in return cannot be thanked enough for what they mean to the patients at Asilo, the children who need uniforms for school, the turtles and environment that require protection.
So while our islands may only represent a tiny speck on a map, the people here mean the world to one another. The Bocas Breeze prides itself in promoting tourism for small businesses in Bocas all the while praising their hard earned victories. To all of our readers and supporters, thank you sincerely continuing to support this island’s paper.
