Rocktoberfest Returns! And Again In Benefit of Music Education in the Islands

After 2 years of the pandemic blues and virtual concerts for the annual October event, it’s time to have a proper rock and roll celebration, in person (and in costume!) It all starts when doors open at 7:30pm, October 31, 2022 at LostBoys Blues Bar for “Halloween on the Dark Side.”

All of the original Lost Boys members will be back on stage together and they will be performing their classic “Pink Floyd Experience,” complete with the full iconic 1973 album “Dark Side of the Moon.” They will also perform some Lost Boys original numbers and other classic cover songs the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll and blues.

The night of music opens with a special guest performance from Costa Rican surf rockers, Los Peatones del Surf and ends with an electronic music session with 3 DJs until 3am. Food and beverage service will be provided by the wonderful crew at The Floating Bar. There will be first place prize for the best halloween costume. See the full event schedule, artists and all the details on the flyer below.

This event is also great news for music education on the islands, as all proceeds from the $5 entrance will be donated to the Colegio Rogelio Jose Ibarra school music program. This is part of Lost Boys Blues Bar and PirateArts Experience’s long-term commitment to supporting the arts on the island.

In 2018, $1,000 raised at the inaugural Rocktoberfest and with that donation the local high school band was able to repair instruments, purchase new uniforms and batons and even procure new brass instruments to expand their marching band and offer the experience to even more students.
